Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. --- After dropping its first loss of the season just two days early, the Washburn women's basketball bounced back to rout Saint Mary (Kan.) by the score of 89-59 on Monday evening at Schendel Court at Lee Arena.

Freshman
Reagan Phelan led the Washburn (2-1) attack tallying 18 of her season-high 20 points in the first half. Phelan finished with four assists while shooting 6-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-6 from three-point distance.

Tatiana Grant also posted a season-high as she netted 14 points, while
Jharian Bowen had 12. Grant also registered a game-high eight rebounds.
Felisha Gibbs chipped in nine points and six boards, while eight other Ichabods found their way onto the score sheet with at least two points apiece.

Shooting 53.1 percent from field including 4-of-8 from behind the arc, the Ichabods took a commanding 45-23 following the first two quarters of action.

Washburn continued dominating early into the third quarter as it accounted for 11 of the first 16 points pushing the score to 56-28 with 6:54 to play. The margin eventually swelled to a 33-point difference before the end of the period due in part to the Ichabods outscoring Saint Mary (0-3) in paint 20-4. Washburn led by as much as 37 early into the fourth, before closing out the night at 89-59.

The Ichabods will return wrap up its four-game home stand on Saturday when they face Drury at 3 p.m.
