Washburn announces additional track/field and cross country signings

TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn men's and women's track and field and cross country field head coach Cameron Babb has announced additional signees who will be part of the newest Ichabod programs starting next fall. As paperwork on additional signees arrive at Washburn and have been approved by the compliance office, they will be added to the listing. - Updated 8:30 a.m. - April 25, 2016

"It's hard for me to capture in words how proud, excited and pleased I am to have such a great group of young student athletes coming to campus next year," Babb said. "This group puts us in position to have a fantastic inaugural season in multiple ways. Not only is this a very talented bunch in competition, but they will get a culture of excitement, comradery, and hard work established for years to come. We still have work ahead of us in order to develop into a contending program, but this class of nearly 40 student athletes once all the paperwork has arrived is definitely a great way to lay the foundation for the future."
