JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Washburn women's junior varsity team set a season-high in scoring Thursday, defeating the Missouri Southern State JV squad 104-54.

Hayley Thompson each had double-doubles in an impressive offensive night for the Ichabods. Narber had 20 points and 10 assists, while Thompson snagged 12 rebounds to go along with her team-high 23 points. Both players added to their stellar stat lines with four steals.

As a team, the Ichabods shot over 57 percent from the floor, including 10 made 3-pointers. Olivia Montague accounted for five of those, shooting 5-7 from beyond the arc and ending with 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Olivia Uhrich was the standout performer for the Lions, coming off the bench to score a game-high 24 on 9-21 shooting. The starting five for Missouri Southern combined to shoot 10-39 on field goals, and the team as a whole went 2-8 from the free throw line.

With the win, the Ichabods move to 5-7 on the year, having won five of their last six games. They will look to end the season on a victory, as they host the University of Saint Mary at 6 p.m. Monday at Lee Arena.
