RECORD PLAYER NOTES
• Phelan cracked the top 40 in scoring in Washburn WBB history and entered the week at 39th overall ... she is goes into Saturday's game 30 points shy of passing former Ichabod Erika Lane's 739 points for 34th on all-time list.
• Phelan's FT streak came to end at 23 straight. The WU record for most consecutive FTs made is 36 held by Nikki Olberding (1/3-21/1998).
• With three blocks against Emporia State on Tuesday, Bernard tied Jannica Beam for second on single-season blocks list with 53 ... Beam posted the mark during the 1992-93 season ... the all-time single-season record is 60, set by Brenda Shaffer-Dahl in 1988-89.
• Bernard also became just the 35th player in WU history to register 200 rebounds in a single season and is now 25 shy of cracking the single-season top 20.
AWAY FROM HOME
• The Ichabods are 6-4 this season when not playing at Lee Arena, including a 4-3 mark in MIAA road contests.
• In their eight true road games this season, the Ichabods are shooting .412 on FGs, .349 on 3FGs, and .755 on FTs, while opponents shoot .395 on FGs and .327 on 3FGs with .746 on FTs
• On the road this season, WU has been outscored by opponents 518-525 and have averaged 64.8 points/game.

ABOUT SOUTHWEST BAPTIST
• The Bearcats are 15-9 overall, 7-8 in the MIAA where they are eighth in the standings.

A LIL' BIT OF HISTORY
• Saturday will be the 56th all-time meeting between Washburn and Southwest Baptist.
• The Ichabods lead the all-time series, 40-15, including a 77-72 overtime victory in Topeka earlier this season.
• In Bolivar, Washburn is 14-9 all-time, and has won 6 of 8 games dating back to 2008.
WASHBURN TRADITION
The 2017-18 campaign marks the 49th season of Washburn women's basketball. The program is 883-392-1 all-time, has seen 23 seasons with at least 20 wins, and 17 appearances NCAA Division II Tournament appearances with the 2004-05 team crowned as national champions. From Jan. 26, 2005 to Mar. 11, 2006, Washburn won 51 consecutive games. The streak is the longest in NCAA Division II and sixth all-time in NCAA history.
UPCOMING ON THE SCHEDULE
• Washburn will close the season in the Sooner State next week with trips to Central Oklahoma (2/22) and Northeastern State (2/24).
