KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the first time since Jan. 13, 2013, the Washburn men's basketball team is ranked in the top-10 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Poll. The Ichabods checked in at No. 10 in the latest rankings and are the only team with a 5-0 record in the top-25.
The Ichabods moved up seven places in the rankings after defeating Rogers State in an 87-74 road victory last Saturday, Dec. 12.
Washburn will play two home games this week to wrap up the 2020 calendar year. The Central Missouri Mules will come to Topeka on Thursday, Dec. 17, and Lincoln will close out the week on Saturday, Dec. 19.
