VICTORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod women's cross country team finished fourth out of 17 teams at the FHSU Tiger Open Saturday. The Ichabods will be in action in two weeks at the MIAA Cross Country Championships in Kearney, Neb.
Sierra Mortensen led Washburn with a fourth-place overall finish in a time of 17:55.7.
Patricia Koma was ninth in a time of 18:15.4 and she was followed by
Lily Johnson who was 16
th in a time of 18:25.7.

Washburn finished with 140 overall trailing the winner team from Westminter (Utah) who had 99. St. Mary's (Kan.) was second with 111 points followed by Adams State in third with 113 points. Nebraska-Kearney was fourth with 119 points, Northwest Missouri was fifth with 128 and Fort Hays State was sixth with 131. Central Missouri was eighth with 145 points.
