JOPLIN, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod women's cross country team finished 12^th at the NCAA Central Regional on the 6K Tom Rutledge Course on Saturday. 
 
Sierra Mortensen led the Ichabods with an 18^th-place finish in a time of 21:28.19 setting the Ichabod record on the course in Joplin by 18 seconds. Patricia Koma was 27^th in a time of 21:51.54. In 36^th was Lily Johnson in a time of 21:59.88 faster topping her previous best of 22:27.70 at the 2019 regional.
 
Dulce Ayala Chanez was 128^th in a time of 23:31.85 and Eve Weber was 134^th at 23:38.31. Luz Lopez Gonzalez was 148^th in a time of 24:02.93 and Verena Vesely was 155^th in a time of 24:11.53.
 
NCAA qualifiers will be announced next week.
