TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn baseball will host a mid-week non-conference matchup against Northwest Missouri on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Falley Field.

>> Brock Gilliam was recognized by the league for the gem he pitched in game one of the DH against Northeastern State on Sunday.
>> He improved his record to 3-1 as he threw seven scoreless innings and allowed just three hits while tying a career-high in strikeouts with 13.
>> He recorded five 1-2-3 innings and struck out the side in the fifth.

>> Leadoff man Xavier De Leon continues to set the tone for the Ichabod offense at the top of the lineup.

>> Catcher Kros Bay is hitting .354 and has six doubles and scored seven runs.
