Thirteen Ichabod Soccer Student-Athletes recognized by MIAA for Academic Success

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Thirteen members of the Washburn soccer team were recognized as members of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll by the MIAA on Tuesday morning with one Ichabod earning Scholar Athlete honors as well.  

To be named to the Academic Honor Roll the student athlete must have a cumulative grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. They must also have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. The Ichabods named to the MIAA Academic Honor roll were Jadyn Allen (health services), Taylor Bockover (business – management), Josie Boyle (physical therapist assistant), Jaedyn Johnson (forensic investigation), Alyssa Kubick (medical imaging), Emily Michaelis (nursing), Riley Painter (nursing), Cloe Quintana (kinesiology), Khloe Schuckman (marketing), Viviana Soto-Herrera (forensic investigation), Carlee Thompson (nursing), Raegan Wells (marketing) and Riley Wells (exploratory).  

Khloe Schuckman also earned MIAA Scholar-Athlete honors for having a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and earning All-MIAA honors in 2022.  

All newcomers will be eligible for the awards in the spring after completing two terms of attendance at Washburn.
