TOPEKA, Kan. – With rain in the forecast for Friday, the series start for Washburn baseball's three-game set at Missouri Southern has been pushed back one day and will now begin on Saturday.
 
The Ichabods will now play the Lions Saturday-Monday with each game slated for a 1 p.m. start in Joplin, Mo.
 
Washburn is 17-6 (8-2 MIAA) and is coming off a 10-1 home win over Northwest Missouri on Tuesday. Missouri Southern holds a record of 15-9 (6-4 MIAA) and lost a 9-7 decision in 10 innings at Rogers State.
