KEARNEY, Neb. – The Washburn Ichabod men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up their final opportunities to improve their positions for the NCAA Outdoor Championships at the Loper Twilight and came away with eight additional provisional qualifiers as well as four more school records.
 
Virgi Scardanzan won the pole vault with a school record notching up the best jump in the D2 ranks this season with a mark of 4.30m (14-01.25) becoming the first Ichabod to vault over the 14-foot mark.
 
Rachael Mayberry also had a personal best at 4.05m (13-03.50) which places her 12^th on the season list and Tassilyn Bolin cleared a PR mark of 3.90m (12-09.50)
 
Braden Rose threw a provisional mark in the discus with a distance of 53.39m (175-02.00) placing him 16^th on the season chart.
 
Isabella Hohl broke her own school record in the 200m with a time of 23.98 for an NCAA provisional time.
 
Paola Castaldi was fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.63m (172-08.00).
 
In the final event of the evening for the Ichabods, the women's 4x400m relay team of Chia Okoro, Darian Hillebert, Lyndsay Stinson, Isabella Hohl finished fourth in a time of 3:45.86 setting a school record.
