ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Washburn Ichabod opened the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Championships with the men's long jump and the 100m prelims.
 
In the 100m prelims, Isabella Hohl finished 15^th overall with a time of 11.82. The event is the first of two for Hohl as she will compete in the 200m prelims on Friday afternoon.
 
In the men's long jump, Connor Last finished 10^th just missing out on the finals with a mark of 7.43m (26-04.50) from his second jump. However by finishing in the top 12, Last will earn second team All-American honors. Josh Hopkins fouled on his first three jumps.
