JOPLIN, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod women's cross country team finished in 12th-place at the Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday morning in Joplin, Mo.
In her first race of the year,
Lily Johnson led the Ichabods finishing 31st in a time of 17:56.07 over the 5K course topping her previous mark at the Tom Rutledge Course by 0.53 of a second.
Lexie Fontaine was 83rd and
Eve Weber was 84th in times of 19:03.89 and 19:05.11 respectively.
Marisa Jacober finished 89th in a time of 19:08.36 and she was followed by
Stacy Briggs who was 129th in a time 19:41.75.
Kelsie Dent placed 143rd 19:49.25.
The Ichabods will be in action again on Sept. 23 at the Emporia State Invitational.
