TOPEKA, Kan. -- No. 6 Washburn splits its final week of regular season matches on the road against Fort Hays State on Friday at 6 p.m. and home against Emporia State at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 for senior day.
KICKOFF
- No. 6 Washburn soccer plays its final week of the regular season against Fort Hays State on the road and Emporia State in Topeka for senior night.
- The Ichabods will face the Tigers at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 and the Hornets at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Yager Stadium with senior day presentations occurring before the match.
SENIOR SALUTE
- Sunday, Oct. 29 will be senior day for Ichabod seniors Raegan Wells and Riley Painter.
- They will be recognized on the field before the match.
- Heading into the week, Wells has appeared in 71 games playing 6,324 career minutes the most of any Ichabod goalkeeper and currently fourth most overall. She has made 313 saves in her career which currently ranks third in program history. She holds the top spot in goalkeeper wins with 41 and is fourth all-time with a .809 save percentage.
- Riley Painter has appeared in 32 matches over three seasons with Washburn logging 618 total minutes. She's scored one goal with one assist both coming this season.
BOD BREAKDOWN
- Washburn is 14-1-1 so far in the 2023 season.
- The Ichabods went 11-6-2 in 2022 and finished sixth in the MIAA.
- WU is in first place of the MIAA with 25 points and are the only team without a loss.
- With 14 wins Washburn has the second most in program history in a season. The record is 15 wins set in 2006.
- They have not lost in 14 straight matches, the longest streak in program history.

- Washburn returns 19 players from last seasons roster while adding two transfers and seven freshmen.
A LOOK AT LAST WEEK
- Washburn went south on the road and took a 2-1 victory over Central Oklahoma on Friday and shut out Newman 3-0 on Sunday.
- The Ichabods exteded their undefeated streak to 14 matches over the weekend, breaking the previous program record of 12 set in 2006.
- Raegan Wells started both games over the weekend playing all 180 minutes and making six total saves. She recorded her ninth solo shutout of the season against the Jets.
- Viviana Soto-Herrera scored five points in the match against Newman, the most in a match by an Ichabod player this season. Ana Muruzabal added the other goal in the win over the Jets.
- Belle Kennedy and Khloe Schuckman each scored a goal in Friday's victory over UCO.
- After the week the Ichabods are now 5-1-1 in true road contests.

- Washburn is 37th in the nation out of 251 teams averaging 1.62 assists per match, that number is second among MIAA teams.

- Mackinly Rohn leads the Ichabods with seven assists on the year. She's also scored three goals to sit third on the team with 13 points. She has started all but two matches and logged 935 minutes as a freshman.
- Khloe Schuckman has 14 points on the year and is second on the team in both goals and assists with five and three respectively. She has logged 1,096 minutes and leads WU with 34 shots.
- Viviana Soto-Herrera has five goals and two assists on the year and is second on the Ichabods with 24 shots taken. She has stared all 14 matches and leads all midfielders with 989 minutes.
- Aubrey Tanksley has scored four goals on the year on 18 shots. All four goals have been game winners, the most on the team. She has started two matches and played a total of 711 minutes.

- Tyson John is in his second season leading the Tigers
- Fort Hays State is 11-2-3 on the season after a 3-0 loss to No. 17 Central Missouri on Sunday.
