TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn's Brady Christiansen and Jalyn Stevenson have been named the HyVee Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of action ending Nov. 12

Brady Christiansen averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rpg and 1 apg in two games … he scored a career-high 18 points against MSU-Moorhead hitting 4 of 6 3-pointers. In Washburn's 82-80 win over Sioux Falls in the season opener, he scored 13 points adding eight rebounds.

Jalyn Stevenson helped Washburn to a 2-0 closing week of the regular season tallying 34 total kills while hitting .365 across seven sets. Against Emporia State she knocked down 18 kills while hitting .359 and had a double-double with 13 digs. She also served two aces and helped out on three total blocks across the week of action. The Ichabods earned the No. 5 seed in the MIAA Tournament and will take on No. 4 Misssouri Western at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
