TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn's Khloe Schuckman and Grace Peterson from the Ichabod NCAA Final Four-bound soccer program have been named the Hy-Vee Student-Athletes of the Week for action ending Dec. 4.

Khloe Schuckman scored both goal's in Washburn's 2-1 win over Emporia State in the NCAA Central Region Championship on Friday and helped the Ichabods to a 1-0 win against Grand Valley State to advance to the Final Four. The junior from Wichita, Kan. scored five total goals in Washburn's first three tournament matches to win the program's first ever Central Region Championship. 

Grace Peterson scored the only goal in Washburn's 1-0 NCAA National Quarterfinals victory over Grand Valley State on Sunday afternoon to advance to the Final Four. The freshman midfielder from Liberty, Neb. scored her first career goal in the 81^st minute of the match and has also started every tournament match for the Ichabods on their tournament run.
