Connor Last highlighted day one of the NCAA Division II National Track and Field Championships for Washburn as he earned All-America honors in the long jump on Friday afternoon. The Ichabods will have one competitor on day two of the national meet as
Isabella Hohl advanced on to the women's 60m dash finals.
Last is now a four-time All-American in the long jump after he placed fifth overall with a jump of 7.34m and earned four team points for Washburn. Fellow Ichabod
Josh Hopkins also competed in the event and finished 12th with a mark of 7.11m.
On the women's side, Hohl advanced to the 60m finals on Saturday after finishing in the top-two of her heat in the preliminaries with a time of 7.49. The 60m finals will take place Saturday at 3 p.m. CST.
