INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- No. 24 Washburn women's tennis was named the No. 12 seed in the NCAA National Championships in the bracket released by the NCAA Wednesday afternoon. The Ichabods will face the No. 5 seed, No. 29 overall ranked Azusa Pacific in the round of 16.  

Washburn (17-6) enters the tournament after winning the MIAA Tournament and being tabbed the No. 2 seed in the Central Region. They knocked off No. 3 Augustana on Tuesday to advance to the National Championships. 

The Ichabods will face the Cougars (22-5) at 12:00 p.m. eastern time on Friday May 12 in Orlando, Fla. at the UTSA National Campus.  The winner of the match will play the following day against the winner of third seeded Flagler and No. 13 Wilmington (DE).
