ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod men's cross country team opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Missouri Western Griffon Twilight on Friday night in St. Joseph. The Ichabods will be back in action on Sept. 15 at the Missouri Southern Stampede.
Tommy Roehl led the Ichabods finishing the 6K course in a time of 18:50.60 and
Daniel Alamilla was 24th overall in a time of 19:23.24.
Nick Petrella was 36th overall in a time of 19:43.80 while
Rafael Montemayor was 45th in a time of 20:03.41.
Finishing 64th overall was
Ryan Rochford crossing the finish line in a time of 21:20.83.
Jaemon Smith was 65th overall in a time of 21:39.59.
Landon Stuke placed 69th in a time of 22:14.71.
