TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn soccer brings its six match winning streak into a second consecutive weekend of home matches as they host Rogers State on Friday and Northeastern State on Sunday.
KICKOFF
- Washburn soccer finishes its four-match home stand this weekend against Rogers State and Northeastern State.
- The Ichabods will face the Hillcats at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 29 and the RiverHawks on Sunday Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. for a Pink Out Game.
BOD BREAKDOWN
- Washburn is 7-1-0 so far in the 2023 season.
- The Ichabods went 11-6-2 in 2022 and finished sixth in the MIAA.
- Washburn has won six straight matches for the first time since 2008.
- Two wins this week would give them the longest winning streak in program history.

A LOOK AT LAST WEEK
- Washburn finished non-conference play with a 2-1 win over Fort Hays State and opened up MIAA competition winning 4-0 against Nebraska-Kearney.
- Raegan Wells started and won both games in goal over the weekend. She earned her third solo shutout of the season on Sunday and made five total saves.
- Both Josie Boyle and Riley Painter scored their first career goals in the second half of the win over Nebraska-Kearney.
- The Ichabods took 25 combined shots over the weekend including a season-high 19 against the Lopers and allowed only nine overall.
- Washburn scored three goals in each half over the weekend and did not allow a goal over the last 116 minutes.

- Mackinly Rohn leads the Ichabods with six assists on the year along with one goal. She has started the last five matches and logged 462 minutes as a freshman.
