GREENWOOD, Ind. – Six members of the Washburn Ichabod women's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon. The CSC selects athletes for the Academic All-District Team based on a combination of athletic and academic achievements.
Khloe Schuckman earns her third All-District selection after being named to the All-MIAA First Team this season. Schuckman has nine goals and five assists while starting all 20 of Washburn's matches.
Riley Wells makes her second appearance on the All-District list. Wells has played in 16 games this season, scoring two goals.
Jadyn Allen also appears on the All-District list for a second time. Allen has scored two goals for the Ichabods this season while appearing in all 20 games so far.
Hailey Beck earns All-District honors for the first time in her career after being named to the All-MIAA Second Team. Beck has started 13 games in goal this season, making 29 saves while allowing only four goals.
Ana Muruzabal was selected for her second All-District team. Muruzabal has scored four goals this season, placing second on the team, while appearing in all 20 matches.
Lakin Rold makes her second All-District team after being named an All-MIAA Honorable Mention. Rold has started all 20 games for the Ichabods this season, recording one goal and one assist.
In addition to their selection for the All-District Team, Schuckman and Rold were chosen for the CSC Academic All-American ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members. The All-America teams will be announced on December 11.
The Ichabods will begin NCAA Tournament play on Friday, Nov. 22 against Central Oklahoma in Warrensburg, Mo.
