KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod women's soccer team moved up four spots in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll, after earning victories in its final two home games of the regular season.
In Friday's Pink Out Game, Washburn used two second-half goals from
Khloe Schuckman to defeat the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats 2-0 at Yager Stadium. The Ichabods continued their winning ways with a 1-0 victory over then-No.15 Missouri Western State, pulling within one point of the Griffons in the conference standings.
Following the defeat to the Ichabods, Missouri Western comes in at No. 21 in the poll, the only other MIAA member to appear in the rankings. Central Missouri continues to receive votes in the poll.
Washburn will close the regular season with a road contest against Emporia State on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
