HAYS, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's and women's sent a small squad to the FHSU Alex Francis Classic and returned to Topeka with four personal bests and 11 top-10 finishes. The Ichabods have added a meet to the schedule and another small group will travel to Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence for the Rock Chalk Classic on Saturday.
 
MacKobe Merwin finished fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.53m (14-10.25) and then finished eighth in the javelin with a personal best mark of 46.97m (154-01).
 
Jadyn Falley had two top-10 finishes with a fourth-place showing in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.12m (161-02) and then had an eighth-place finish in the javelin with a mark of 32.54m (106-09).
