INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- The 2024 MIAA/GAC Tournament Champion Washburn men's tennis is the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Central Region Tournament after the full NCAA Tournament bracket was announced Monday evening. 

The Ichabods will host Harding in the first round on Monday, May 13 at the Washburn Tennis Complex. Washburn is fresh off a match with the Bisons which saw them win its second straight MIAA/GAC Tournament Championship on May 3 in Edmond.  

The tournament appearance is the 18th in program history and the fifth straight, with the final four coming under head coach Kirby Ronning. The Ichabods are 19-4 on the season, already eclipsing their total from a year ago.  

The winner of Monday's match will move onto the NCAA National Championships beginning May 18 in Orlando, Fla. The time of Monday's match is to be determined, check back to wusports.com for updates.
