KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod soccer team is ranked 21^st in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II National poll, the second straight week the Ichabods have cracked the top 25.

The Ichabods capped off an undefeated weekend with two neutral-site contests in Kearney, Neb. On Friday, Washburn defeated Black Hills State 6-0 in a contest that saw five different Ichabods find the net, with three scoring their first collegiate goals. On Sunday, Washburn played Western Colorado to a 0-0 draw, closing out the nonconference slate.

The Ichabods will return to Yager Stadium to open conference play with a contest against Central Oklahoma on Friday, Sep. 27, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. Washburn will also host Newman on Sunday, Sep. 29 for a 1 p.m. match.
