TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn baseball will head to Florida for four games against Sunshine State Conference opponents beginning on Friday at 1 p.m. CST against Lynn.
LEADING OFF
>> Washburn baseball heads further south to the eastern time zone for the South Florida Baseball Jamboree beginning Friday, Feb. 7.
>> The Ichabods face Lynn University on Friday at 1 p.m. to begin the trip around Florida. They face Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Nova Southeastern at 1 p.m. on Sunday. They finish out the tournament against Barry at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10.
>> Washburn is 1-3 on the year after losing three straight games to finish off the Dugan Invitational with an 11-2 loss to Southern Arkanasas on Feb. 3 last time out.
>> The Ichabds are coming off a third straight 30-win season in 2024. They finished the campaign 32-21 overall and 21-12 in the MIAA, finishing fifth in the regular season and advancing to the MIAA Championship Tournament.
