LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's and women's track team sent a select group of distance runners to open the outdoor season returning with an event winner in its first action of the season.
 
Eve Weber won the 1500m in a time of 4:40.76, knocking 17 seconds off her previous best time in the outdoor 1500m.
 
Ross O'Brien recorded a top-five finish in the 800m in a time of 1:56.33.
