PALM DESERT, CALIF. - The Washburn Women's Golf Team completed Day 1 of the Lady Bulldog Desert Classic.
"We didn't have our best stuff today, but we still have a chance to work up the leaderboard tomorrow. Susana had a good 36 holes today to keep her at the top of the leaderboard. Hopefully, we have a good round tomorrow to help build momentum for the rest of the fall," said Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry.
Washburn is 4th overall after 36 holes were played on Sunday.
Susana Granados Carrion is in 5th place after she shot a 75(+3) in round 1, and a 73(+1) in round 2, with six birdies between the two rounds.
Angelina Borg-Malec is also inside the top 15 where she sits in T-12th place. She also shot a 75(+3) in round 1, while shooting a 77 in round 2.

California State San Marcos leads the tournament with a team score of +12.
The Ichabods will complete the Lady Bulldog Desert Classic tomorrow with tee times 8:45 AM PT/ 10:45 AM CT.
