KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabods fell out of the No. 1 slot in the NABC top 25 rankings for the first time in seven weeks after suffering their first loss of the season dropping to No. 3 in Tuesday's newest update, while still receiving three first-place votes.
The Ichabods lost a two-point decision at Central Missouri on Feb. 7 snapping Washburn's 22-game winning streak to start the season. The Ichabods will host Arkansas-Fort Smith on Feb. 12 and Northeastern State on Feb. 14. UAFS is ranked No. 25 in today's poll.
The Ichabods have been ranked in the top 10 in the last 27 polls dating back to last year and in the top five in the last 25 consecutive polls overall.
