KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabods remained steady at No. 3 in the NABC top 25 rankings in the latest edition announced today, while receiving two first-place votes.
Washburn is coming off back-to-back home wins over No. 24-ranked Arkansas Fort Smith in an 81-53 win and a 78-54 Valentine's Day win over Northeastern State. The Ichabods will finish off the regular season road portion of their schedule traveling to Oklahoma to face Central Oklahoma on Feb. 19 followed by Rogers State on Feb. 21. Washburn will wrap up the last week of the regular season hosting Pittsburg State on Feb. 25 and then will end the regular season hosting Missouri Southern at 1 p.m. in the MIAA Game of the Week facing the Lions on 38 The Spot in Kansas City.
The Ichabods have been ranked in the top 10 in the last 28 polls dating back to last year and in the top five in the last 26 consecutive polls.
