TOPEKA, Kan. – Washburn Ichabod softball head coach
Brenda Holaday has announced the signing of NCAA D2 transfer pitcher Jordyn Marsh to play for the Ichabods starting in the 2026-27 academic year. Marsh spent the first two years of her collegiate career at Southwest Minnesota State earning second team honors this past season.
"Jordyn is a proven winner at the D2 level," said Holaday. "She led her team with 22 wins against a strong NSIC conference. We expect her step right in and be a major contributor in our program."

At Southwest Minnesota State, she was named second-team all-NSIC as a sophomore going 22-9 with a 2.10 ERA with 30 starts appearing in 36 games striking out 148 in 203 innings while also batting .279 with five doubles and three home runs … as a freshman she was 6-4 with a 2.22 ERA recording 10 saves in 35 appearances … at New Prague High School, she was a four-year letterwinner and a four-time all-conference selection earning all-state honors as a senior and was a finalist for Minnesota Miss Softball participating in all-star game after hitting .347 with five home runs while going 13-1 in the circle with a 0.62 ERA with 231 strikeouts allowing 13 earned runs helping team to state runner up … daughter of Jessica Weckman and Brian Marsh … two brothers, Noah and Tyler … a sister, Avery … majoring in finance.
"After praying and letting God show me where my next home is, I am excited to announce that I will be continuing the rest of my athletic and academic career at Washburn University," Marsh said.
