TOPEKA, Kan. -- The 2026 edition of the Washburn Ichabod volleyball media guide is now available online for viewing and download. The 179-page publication features in-depth information about this season's team as well as a complete history and record section dating back to the program's first season in 1969.

The Ichabods are coming off a 27-5 campaign in 2025 that included a 13-3 record in MIAA play as they tied for an MIAA Regular Season Championship. Washburn advanced to the NCAA Central Region Semifinals after delivering a 24th consectuve winning season, all under head coach Chris Herron who enters year 25 in 2026. 

The regular season will begin at home in the freshly renovated Lee Arena with four matches in three days as part of the Washburn Invitational beginning against Oklahoma Christian on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m.
