KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn women's soccer team is ranked 25^th in the latest edition of the United Soccer Coaches rankings on Tuesday afternoon.

Washburn is 5-1-1 this season and went 1-1 to open MIAA play last weekend on the road defeating Missouri Southern 6-1 and falling to then No. 12-ranked Pittsburg State 1-0. 

Florida Tech is ranked first in the USC rankings for the fourth consecutive week. Among MIAA teams, Pittsburg State jumped up to No. 6 and Central Missouri comes is ranked No. 18 in the week four poll. 

Washburn is ranked fourth in the Central Region rankings behind Minnesota State Mankato, Pittsburg State, and Central Missouri.
 
The Ichabods begin a four game homestand this weekend starting with Missouri Western on Friday at 6 p.m. before facing Northwest Missouri State at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
