Washburn moves up two spots to No. 7 in national poll
The Lady Blues moved from ninth to seventh in the latest AVCA national poll, released Monday. Washburn has won 10 straight and has been in the top 10 for the last 21 weeks. The Lady Blues will take their ranking and winning streak into Lee Arena as they host No. 10 Truman at 7 p.m. Friday before hosting Missouri Western at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Hampson breaks Washburn's career assists record
With her seventh assist in WU's 3-1 home win over No. 13 Pittsburg State on October 11, Hampson surpassed Lindsey Kersting (1999-2002 -- 3,915) as the school's career leader.
