Season finale moved up a day as Ichabods close out year at Rockhurst
The Ichabods will wrap up the 2013 season Tuesday with a 5 p.m. game at Rockhurst. Possible rain on Wednesday moved the game up a day and it will now be played an hour earlier.
This will be just the third non-conference game of the year for the Ichabods. Washburn and the Hawks played just one of the three originally scheduled games this year in a 17-8 Rockhurst win on March 20. The other two were canceled due to snow.
The Ichabods salvaged a win Sunday in the series finale against Lindenwood and are 10-33 overall. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak. Rockhurst currently has a seven-game losing streak and is 16-22 overall. The Hawks will wrap up their series with Drury with a doubleheader Monday before hosting Washburn. Drury took the first two games of the series on Sunday.
Washburn and Rockhurst have played 64 times with the Hawks holding a 34-30 advantage in the all-time series.
