WACO, Texas -- The Washburn Ichabod football team moved up three spots from No. 18 to No. 15 in the latest American Football Coaches Association top 25 poll which was released Monday. The Ichabods defeated Central Oklahoma last time out 28-19 and will travel to face Southwest Baptist on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bolivar, Mo.

Among other MIAA schools, Northwest Missouri is ranked No. 3 while Missouri Western is ranked sixth and Pittsburg State is ranked 10th and Emporia State is ranked 24th.

Under head coach Craig Schurig, the Ichabods have been ranked or have received votes in the AFCA poll 45 times.
