No. 8 Washburn will wrap up a three-match road trip Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Fort Hays State and then host Lindenwood Friday at 7 p.m. at Schendel Court in Lee Arena and then 16th-ranked Central Missouri Saturday at 3 p.m.

Chris Herron will coach his 450th match at Washburn Tuesday night.
The Ichabods went 2-1 last week as they dropped their first match of the year. They swept ESU Tuesday and then came back to beat NWMSU 3-1 Friday. MWSU swept the Ichabods Saturday. Washburn lost to the Griffons for the first time since 2001 and was swept on the road for the first time since 2011.
Marissa Cox earned her 1,000th career kill Friday against NWMSU. She's 18th in WU history with 1,024 kills and second with a .327 career attack percentage.
Cox was named the MIAA hitter of the week after averaging 5.10 kills and 1.00 blocks a set last week.
The Ichabods have the top attackers in the MIAA with Cox leading the league with 4.09 kills a set and
Sarah Vicory leading with a .438 attack percentage.
The Tigers went 1-2 last week in MIAA games and are 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the league. Lindenwood is 4-7 and also 1-2 in the league and will play at UCM Tuesday before travelling to Topeka. UCM went 3-5 in non-conference matches but has since gone 3-0 in the league to improve to 6-5. The Jennies go to ESU Friday after playing at Lindenwood Tuesday.
Washburn has won 17 straight against FHSU in a streak that started in 2006. The Ichabods are 2-0 against the Lions with the matches coming in each of the last two years. Washburn is 13-49 against Central Missouri. The two schools have ended up with the same MIAA record and finish in each of the last four years, sharing the conference title three times.
The Ichabods dropped three spots to eighth in this week's AVCA national poll and have been ranked 138 straight times.
The Ichabods went 31-6 last year and won a share of their third MIAA title in the last four years with a 15-1 conference record.
