• The Washburn Ichabod softball team looks to continue its winning ways against Newman on Tuesday in Wichita, Kan.
• The Ichabods have won their last four games and enter the game with a 12-12 overall record.
• Washburn went 4-1 at the Apple Market Regional Crossover winning its final four games of the event.
• The Jets are 10-20 this season winning their last two games against Texas A&M International on March 18-19.
• The Ichabods will continue their 11-game roadtrip back in MIAA play starting with Missouri Southern on March 25 and at Pittsburg State on March 26.

Samantha Carson leads the team with a 2.47 earned run average in 82 1/3 innings pitched going 6-5 in the circle … in relief she has pitched 10 1/3 innings with a 0.68 earned run average striking out five allowing only one earned run recording a 2-0 record.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabod softball team won its fourth-straight game topping Mary 3-1 wrapping up the Apple Market Regional Crossover at Missouri Western with a 4-1 overall record.

Cassidy Merriman led off the game with a single reaching base for the 22nd game in a row.
