>> Head went five innings and allowed four runs on seven hits and walked four while also striking out a career-high nine batters.
>> Head moved into a tie with Dennis Banks with 13 career wins, which is the 15th-most in Washburn history.
>> He also moved up to 16th in the Ichabods' record books for most innings pitched as he has thrown 162.1 in his career.
WHAT A RELIEF
>> Cole Warner threw 4.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen against Maryville and allowed just four hits, three walks, and struck out four.
>> Trevor Marreel tossed three innings in relief against Missouri Southern and gave up one unearned run, one hit, and struck out three.
>> Skyler Proctor took over for Marreel in the game and threw three no-hit innings, walked three, and rang up five batters.
A [B]ROCK ON THE MOUND
>> Despite receiving the loss in last Friday's game against St. Cloud, Brock Gilliam turned in a solid outing.
>> He gave up a hit in the first at bat of the game and the next batter reached on an error, but he settled in and retired the next 14-straight batters.
>> Gilliam finished the night throwing 5.1 innings and gave up five runs, one earned, and four hits while striking out five with zero walks.
MIAA HITTER OF THE WEEK
>> Wyatt Featherston was named the MIAA Hitter of the Week on Feb. 12 after hitting for the cycle against Truman State.
>> In the 13-3 victory over TSU, Featherston was a perfect 4-4 at the plate and scored four runs with two RBI.
>> In three games over that weekend, he finished with a .583 batting average, going 7-for-12 with seven runs scored and three RBIs. Featherston also recorded a 1.083 slugging percentage.
>> The first and only other time an Ichabod has hit for the cycle was on May 12, 2000 by Pat Colley against Central Missouri.
>> Featherston became the first Ichabod hitter since Josh Crosby on April 3, 2018 to receive the weekly conference award.

>> Drew LaComb begins his first season as the head coach of the Rangers after serving as an assistant for the past three years.
