VICTORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's cross country team was seventh on Saturday's Fort Hays State's Tiger Open on the 8K course.  The Ichabods will be in action in two weeks at the MIAA Cross Country Championships in Kearney, Neb.
 
Collen McLain led the Ichabods finishing 25^th overall in a time of 24:57.8. David Kibet was 34^th in a time of 25:22.7 and Gabriel Chinya was 53^rd overall in a time of 25:43.0. Ethan Thomas finished 66^th in a time of 25:59.3 and Keetan Munsell was 85^th in a time of 26:29.5.
 
Brett Kulp finished 117^th overall in a time of 27:12.3 followed by Gustav Morch in 126^th (27:32.4), Cooper Griffin in 133^rd (27:41.3), Nick Petrella in 141^st (27:58.5), Kael Ecord in 159^th (28:35.7) and Sam Steinlicht in 160^th (28:54.3).
 
Adams State was the winning team with 84 total team points. Nebraska-Kearney was second with 90 and Northwest Missouri was third with 93 points. St. Mary's (Kan.) was fourth with 108 followed by New Mexico Highlands in fifth with 133 and Central Missouri in sixth with 178 points.
