Ichabod men's cross country team 7th at FHSU Tiger Open

VICTORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's cross country team was seventh on Saturday's Fort Hays State's Tiger Open on the 8K course.  The Ichabods will be in action in two weeks at the MIAA Cross Country Championships in Kearney, Neb.
 
Collen McLain led the Ichabods finishing 25th overall in a time of 24:57.8. David Kibet was 34th in a time of 25:22.7 and Gabriel Chinya was 53rd overall in a time of 25:43.0. Ethan Thomas finished 66th in a time of 25:59.3 and Keetan Munsell was 85th in a time of 26:29.5.
 
Brett Kulp finished 117th overall in a time of 27:12.3 followed by Gustav Morch in 126th (27:32.4), Cooper Griffin in 133rd (27:41.3), Nick Petrella in 141st (27:58.5), Kael Ecord in 159th (28:35.7) and Sam Steinlicht in 160th (28:54.3).
 
Adams State was the winning team with 84 total team points. Nebraska-Kearney was second with 90 and Northwest Missouri was third with 93 points. St. Mary's (Kan.) was fourth with 108 followed by New Mexico Highlands in fifth with 133 and Central Missouri in sixth with 178 points.
