VICTORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's cross country team was seventh on Saturday's Fort Hays State's Tiger Open on the 8K course. The Ichabods will be in action in two weeks at the MIAA Cross Country Championships in Kearney, Neb.
Collen McLain led the Ichabods finishing 25
th overall in a time of 24:57.8.
David Kibet was 34
th in a time of 25:22.7 and
Gabriel Chinya was 53
rd overall in a time of 25:43.0. Ethan Thomas finished 66
th in a time of 25:59.3 and
Keetan Munsell was 85
th in a time of 26:29.5.
Brett Kulp finished 117
th overall in a time of 27:12.3 followed by
Gustav Morch in 126
th (27:32.4),
Cooper Griffin in 133
rd (27:41.3),
Nick Petrella in 141
st (27:58.5),
Kael Ecord in 159
th (28:35.7) and
Sam Steinlicht in 160
th (28:54.3).
Adams State was the winning team with 84 total team points. Nebraska-Kearney was second with 90 and Northwest Missouri was third with 93 points. St. Mary's (Kan.) was fourth with 108 followed by New Mexico Highlands in fifth with 133 and Central Missouri in sixth with 178 points.
