TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Washburn men's tennis duo of Bradley Eidenmueller and Sebastian Pjontek have earned ITA All-America honors as they finished ranked as the No. 9 doubles team in Division II. As a team, the Ichabods checked in at No. 21 in the final rankings.

In their first season playing together, Eidenmueller and Pjontek achieved a record of 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. The pair captured the clinching doubles point against No. 9 Flagler on March 10 to set the tone for Washburn's huge 6-1 victory. This is the first All-American award for either player.

Also earning a place on the final ITA rankings was Raul-Alin Dicu, as he checks in at No. 34 overall in singles. At the top of the lineup, Dicu faced tough competition including five nationally-ranked opponents and finished the year 6-9 and earned an all-MIAA Honorable Mention nod at No. 1 singles.

In the central region team rankings, Washburn finished second overall. Four Ichabods were ranked in singles, led by Dicu at No. 5 followed by Miquel Perez at No. 7, Paul Haase at No. 11, and Eidenmueller at No. 19. In doubles, the All-America award winning pair of Eidenmueller and Pjontek finished ranked as the No. 2 duo in the region.

The Ichabods finished the season 11-5 overall with a perfect 3-0 record in conference play. The team competed in the MIAA Championship match and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
