HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's cross country finished third out of 17 teams opening the season at the Terry Masterson Twilight Invitational. The Ichabods tallied 118 points finishing behind Cloud County and Cowley College who recorded 65 and 102 total points.
Washburn was led by
David Kibet who was fifth overall in a time of 20:45.5 in the four-miles race.
Gabriel Chinya was 13
th in a time of 21:30.4. Placing 24
th was
Keetan Munsell in a time of 22:15.5.
Sam Steinlicht was 42
nd in a time of 23:01.3 followed by
Cooper Griffin in 43
rd at 23:02.6 and
Nick Petrella was 55
th in a time of 23:21.9.
Kael Ecord was 75
th (23:59.4) and
James Gillin was 103
rd (24:56.4) and
Troy Grabert was 114
th in a time of 25:16.9.
Washburn will be back in action on Sept. 18 at the Missouri Southern Stampede.
