TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabods picked up 16th personal bests along with four NCAA provisional marks adding two individual winners and six top-five finishes at the Jason's Deli Ichabod Invitational in the final home indoor meet of the season at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility. Washburn will be back in action at the MIAA Indoor Championships in two weeks at Northwest Missouri.
Chia Okoro won the 400m finishing first in the 400m breaking the school record with an NCAA provisional time of 56.73.
Virgi Scardanzan finished in a tie for first in the pole vault with a mark of 3.97m (13-00.25) for NCAA Provisional.
Isabella Hohl placed second in the 60m with an NCAA provisional mark of 7.53 breaking her own school record for the third outing in a row. She ran a time of. 7.56 in the preliminary round.
Katelyn Jones finished third in the 600 yard in a time of 1:29.07 setting a personal best.
Lily Johnson was third in the mile in a time of 5:00:45 setting a personal best.
