MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod women's track and field team finished eighth at the MIAA Indoor Championships recording 44.50 points for its highest point total in six championships after wrapping up the third and final day at Northwest Missouri. The Ichabods will now await the announcements for the NCAA National Championships which will take place March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kan.

Isabella Hohl earned 11 total points in two different events finishing second in the 60m dash scoring eight points picking up second team All-MIAA honors with a school-record time of 7.47. In the 200m, Hohl finished sixth and scored three team points for the Ichabods. Both times were NCAA provisional marks.

Chia Okoro was a second team All-MIAA honoree after breaking the school record with an NCAA provisional mark of 1:22.44 gaining eight team points.

Sierra Mortensen also earned second team All-MIAA honors after placing second in the 3000m with a time of 10:01.35 scoring eight team points. The eight points added to her previous indoor career history gives her 44 total points scored which is the most in school history.

The 4x400m relay team of Isabella Hohl, Darian Hillebert, Lyndsay Stinson and Chia Okoro were fourth with a Washburn record with an NCAA provisional time of  3:47.61 gaining five team points.
