EMPORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod women's track and field team wrapped up its first weekend of action at the Emporia State Relays on Saturday with 11 personal bests and one NCAA provisional mark. The Ichabods will be back in action next weekend at the Southwest Baptist Bearcat Invitational.
 
Virgi Scardanzan finished first in the pole vault with an NCAA provisional mark of 3.95m (12-11.50). Tassilyn Bolin recorded a personal best with a sixth-place finish in the event at 3.65m (11.11.75).
 
Chia Okoro was sixth in the 800m with a time of 2:15.70 setting a personal best.
 
In the long jump, Alyssa Hutcherson was fifth with a mark of 5.64m (18-06.00) recording a personal best.
 
Shelby Edwards finished ninth in the javelin with a mark of 40.63m (133-04).
