TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team started a busy weekend with the Washburn Mid-Week Challenge and put up 11 personal bests, two NCAA provisional marks, a school record, and a meet record Thursday night at the Indoor Athletic Facility. The Ichabods will continue their weekend with action on both Friday and Saturday hosting the Ichabod Invitational.
 
Wyatt Heiman broke his own school record of 21.61 in the 200m running a time of 21.46 while also breaking the meet record as well. Entering the weekend, his time is the 10^th-fastest in the D2 ranks so far this season.
 
Alessandro Di Gregorio finished fourth in the high jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 2.04m (06-08.25).
 
Mitchell Thompson finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 4.62m (15-01.75) setting a personal best.
