TOPEKA, Kan. – The No. 11-ranked Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team wrapped up day one of the Washburn Open with three NCAA provisional marks while sending several into Saturday's semifinals of their events. Day two of the Washburn Open will begin at 10:30 on Saturday at the Indoor Athletic Facility.

In the 60m prelims, Ezekiel Seamster finished seventh in the event in a time of 6.78 moving on to Saturday's semifinals, recording an NCAA provisional mark. Tre Richardson was 10th in a time of 6.81, advancing to Saturday's semifinals with an NCAA provisional mark. Eddie Craig qualified 21st for the semifinals with a personal best of 6.81.

Seamster finished second in the 200m with an NCAA provisional time of 21.11.

Ransford Nti took fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.43m (47-04.25).
