The Ichabods extended their winning streak to seven matches last time out, moving to 19-1 overall and 8-1 inside the MIAA as Washburn stays ranked at No. 2 in the nation. They received 1,123 total points of votes this week, up from 1,060 in last week's poll.
Tampa, with a 16-0 record, remains ranked at the top spot in the poll with all 47 first-place votes and 1,175 total points. Barry sits at No. 3, Nebraska Kearney moves up to No. 4 and Point Loma rounds out the top-five at No. 5.
Around the MIAA, Central Oklahoma fell three spots to No. 7. Missouri Western and Emporia State both enter the poll in the final two spots at No. 24 and No. 25 respectively. Central Missouri is receiving votes in the poll.
The Ichabods will now face another ranked opponent taking on the No. 25 Hornets on Friday at 6 p.m. in Whiting Fieldhouse next time out.
