MONKEY ISLAND, OKLA. - The Washburn Men's Golf team ends the fall season on a strong note.

"This was big for our men's team. We hadn't had the exact fall that we wanted, but this will go a long way for the postseason! They played great and will be a tournament we can build on with a young group having 3 freshmen and a sophomore in our lineup. This makes the off-season a lot happier for everyone," said Washburn Head Coach Ronnie McHenry.

The team had the best finish of the fall season, as they took 2nd overall.

Jacob Fratzel ends his 1st semester as a college athlete with his best performance of the fall with a 4th place finish.

Myles Tarvin & Jake Conley both tied for 18th at seven over par. Tarvin, who transferred in from Kansas City, finishes the fall with three top-20 finishes. Conley, who redshirted his freshman year, has two top 20 finishes, including a T-6th at the Holiday Inn Express tournament.

Marco Anderson, who won the NCAA Midwest/Central Region last season, finished tied for 24th this week. 

Freshman Jake Kolich completes a successful opening fall season and ends it with a T-42nd at the MSSU Fall Invite, and had a top-10 finish this fall at the NSU Men's Classic.

Zachary Haydamack ends the fall season with two rounds under 70.
