ST. JOSEPH, MO. - The Ichabod Women's Golf Team caps off a successful fall schedule at the MWSU Regional Preview.
"We came out today and showed some toughness, which is nice to see as a coach. The weather was colder and windier, and we shot a better score than we did the first day and moved up 4 team spots. It will be whether we will see a lot during the spring season and a nice way to end the fall," said Ichabod Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry.
The team took 7th this week in St. Joseph, where they competed against 18 other teams. They had three top 5 finishes this fall.
Susana Granados Carrion finished T-14th at the Regional Preview. The Junior had 3 top 5 finishes with a fall season best of 3rd last week at the Midwest Classic.
Angelina Borg-Malec placed T-23rd; she also had a season-best finish last week at the Midwest Classic of T-7th.
Keira Ronsick placed top-20 this fall season, with a best of 5th at the opening tournament of the year up in Wisconsin at the Fall Brawl.
